Haven't read the TLOU2 leaks either but yeah I can't imagine any game's plot would be good being presented in this way

 

This is what bothers me but urgh I’m drunk and whatever. Seen so many dumb edgy posts online about this and it’s ridiculous. Of course reading a plot of a videogame you haven’t played isn’t going to translate in anywhere near the same way as actually investing time in it. Why would it? If I read the original plot it wouldn’t have had hit twice as hard. But the game itself struck a chord with me and I don’t think I’ve ever had such a visceral response to a game in my life. But I guess that’s not a cool enough response here lol

 

Typing out spoilers like that to some of my favorite games would make them sound probably god awful lol just wait for the game and decide after that.

There’s a lot of documented talk of crunch times yeah. It’s not new in this industry and it’s certainly not only ND guilty of it. Everyone preaches studios like CDProjektRed but they’ve had similarly alarming, if not worse reviews. But hey - Witcher. Blah blah

You’d figure that you could get a job at a better employer with Naughty Dog on your resume. Same for Rockstar. How come these shitty developers aren’t bleeding talent?

 

Because other places probably aren’t paying nearly as much as a higher-selling studio like them.

I remember when Endgames plot got leaked it sounded absolutely ridiculous and I was severely underwhelmed BUT when I watched it, was I excited. I'm hoping this is the case for this. I don't think translating games to text is a good idea in the first place.
