I remember Chuck being great. Haven't listened to it in a while but im sure it holds up

 

Some Say is one of my favorite songs of theirs across the board. But that’s probably cause it just sounds like an Avril track

 

My Sum 41 ranking in general probably belongs in this thread

I feel like Chuck is almost indisputably their best, and I realize placing UH so high and 13 Voices at the bottom makes me sound like a hypocrite after saying they get way more interesting when they get heavier but I have a LOT of memories tied to UH and I also think it's the best pure pop-punk music they ever made, and I really couldn't connect with 13 Voices at all outside of a few songs

 

my ranking is i've heard like two of their songs ever

it's pretty easily possible lol. i'm 30 and have heard maybe 2 of them.

 

My favorite album Deryck Whibley played on is Avril Lavigne's The Best Damn Thing.

Infected > chuck > aknf > underclass > screaming > half hour > order in decline > 13 voices

 

I know about three sum 41 songs. But I was 17/18 when they came out. Didn’t care enough to check out anything outside of the singles and the minute long metal parody (that is actually a fucking great song), though.

But I’ve never been a fan of pop punk either.

Same and while this might not fit I’ve been listening to a ton of Protest the Hero lately and I love how many potentially corny moments they have that come across as so sincere
