It has been today.

Thank you to all the generous souls around here for allowing me to pass the 3M bell tip threshold by simply wiggling my controller once every few minutes.

 

I still think the easiest way is for the island owner to PM the code to the first person to respond to their post and then everyone else just pass the code along to the next person that posted once they are done.

That way you don’t get 100 lurkers jamming up the queue.

 

this is definitely the safest approach. the problem with this is the island owner does a lot of the heavy-lifting, which we don't want.

ideally we just want that person to leave the island open, and then let the people who want to sell actually do the effort. it does suck that lurkers might hijack this. but if it comes to that (and i really hope it doesn't) then i guess we can think of something else?

also i'm not enforcing this in the thread (obviously, also not saying you were implying that haha). i just wanted a template that people can use.

EDIT: just re-read what you said so you can ignore my original post. yeah this is definitely an option if we have a lot of lurkers in the thread. it kind of complicates return trips a bit because then you can pass around codes until everyone is done.
