An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

probably my second favourite behind "satellites", it's gorgeous

All 4 of the singles, Crossing The Rubicon, The Pressure's On, Marionettes II and Satellites are so fucking good. Album is stellar. So unlike anything they've done before but so quintessentially Shikari hah

Anyone else getting some serious The 1975 vibes from some of the songs?

Definitely getting The 1975 vibes from The Pressure's On and Waltzing Off the Face of the Earth II

  10. First listen in and this is their best thing since Common Dreads. God I hope they are able to tour this year.

Some strong "Bittersweet Symphony" vibes in the chorus of "Modern Living".

    The spiciest meme

wow I hadn't listened to T.I.N.A yet because I was just waiting for the album and damn that's my favorite on the album

album is quite nice on first listen, happy for future listens

Also it HAS to be intentional that the "you better figure it out now" on the pressure's on is in the same melody as "are you getting nervous" in Rabble Rouser right? Not that I'm complaining, that was one of my favorite things off of The Spark

This is such a weird fucking release

Not sure how they’re going play like half of this live

Crossing the Rubicon reminds me of what MCR was doing in Danger Days

  17. I had that thought during most of the record. Should be really cool if they can pull it off.

First time I listened to this, my immediate standouts were T.I.N.A and Marionettes. Now I've had a while with it, might be my favourite Shikari since Mindsweep.

I've only listened to { The Dreamer’s Hotel } previously so I went in almost completely blind. Listened to half of it on my way to work and it hurt to turn it off just as Reprise 3 was about to transition into T.I.N.A. I really like it so far. A big step up from The Spark in my ears. Excited to hear the rest in a few hours!

Oh boy, i miss the Common dreads and A flash full of colour era of Enter Shikari.

It's incredible to hear how much they've changed and allowed themselves to experiment outside of what they've become known for. It's so pop heavy but with their own flair to it that it really gels into something quite nice.

If you introduced someone to Take To The Skies or Common Dreads and then played this right after, I honestly don't think people would tell it's the same band throughout a lot of it haha.

This is definitely taking me some getting used to.

I really like the album, but it's just so weird knowing it's coming from Enter Shikari. There's this whole thing with identity that I really struggle with when it comes to artists.

Yeah this album's so wild. Really didn't expect this to sound like this from the singles - kinda wish they'd actually left TINA and put out Rubicon or pressure's on as singles instead. Only a small nitpick, though. I really like this as a whole.
