    Similarly, I think about when my brother and I were at Target and he bought FOB’s “Infinity on High” and I bought Bloc Party’s “A Weekend in the City”...

    That was a good day. Times were definitely different.

    last thing I will say about Maroon 5. They actually had a really cool 11-minute song on their most recent album that mostly is just a tease because it shows they could make cool music if they really wanted to. Very cool jam:

    Dunno if this is a particularly hot take so much as it is one that just doesn't get much discussion, but here goes.

    Musical theatre is home to some of the best music that has ever been written, in any genre, and any take that sees it as all just hokey-dokey tap dancing and cheesy songs about puppy love is missing out on some absolutely incredible songwriting and performances.
