I’ve literally never had a dream about the nfl draft.
And I’ve been sleeping like crap all bagel-long. So I couldn’t tell you the last dream I had.

Now we know who you'd subliminally want the Texans to draft if you were still a fan hahah

    Not bad choices tbh

Don't you guys think it might be kind of an indictment against Howard that Brady isn't exactly lobbying to keep him around?

I mean I get that last year Brady was an old curmudgeon and wanted "his guys" on the field and didn't want to give the rookies/2nd year players a chance but this will be Howard's 4th year and has flashed at times so he doesn't exactly fall into that category, and TE is a big part of Brady's game

Brady's probably lobbying another Tight End to visit Florida.

Yeah, elite WRs in the league arent suddenly now worth a 2nd rounder + an injury prone player because BoB decided his guy was

I still think the Falcons wildly overpaid in the trade for Hurst considering he wasn’t even the Ravens best pass-catcher or blocker lol

Not to mention the fact that he’s gonna be 27 in August and doesn’t have much on his NFL resume.

yeah, hurst is not good. oj definitely better, even if he's had an underwhelming career thus far. i'm just saying not to be surprised if he goes for a higher draft pick than what's being discussed because we've already seen teams trade more for less.

It’s wild how to Bears signed Jimmy Graham to the ludicrous contract they did instead of just trading for OJ Howard

Oh my god, Jimmy Graham and Trey Burton are two of the top seven highest paid TEs in the league lmao

My hot take: You're worse off paying a TE elite money than you are a RB, because aside from a few guys, they're all dogshit. Imagine getting the privilege of paying $8-10mil for production less than an average slot WR

    benjamin please Prestigious

George Kittle should be paid like CMC. But yeah outside of like a couple guys it's a bad idea.

I read some interesting articles/studies over the last year from someone who used to write for PFF, and I think from Warren Sharp as well, where they looked at the targets RBs and TEs saw to determine who was being more efficient and productive with their opportunities. From what I can remember, what I found really interesting is that the lines have been blurred more in recent seasons. I've personally just preferred the idea of paying the TE more before the RB because they usually don't suffer from as much wear and tear.

But I also wouldn't be ecstatic about dishing out >$10m to just a possession type of TE. I'd much rather pay up for the TEs who are vertical threats and create after the catch. It's what puts Travis Kelce and George Kittle in a different tier than Zach Ertz, for example.

  23. Did you guys watch Nick Saban's Detail episodes on Burrow and Tua?
