Can’t believe how far he’s fallen. Glad I never listened to his last album

He’s the lead singer from what I know so it wouldn’t surprise me if they break up over this. They should, at least.

The album being called 'Don't Waste Your Anger' is the ultimate gaslighting move.

Fuck Wil Wagner and that his shit-eating grin.

I posted this on Reddit (r/emo) and literally the first comment I got was:

I know people on Reddit can be terrible, but still. Sigh.

r/emo is a toxic waste dump of sexually repressed early 20s dudes and they will excuse literally anything

I can't find the accusation, but something happened with the drummer of this band (sounds like some sort of abuse) and he's out of the band.

So Ryan from Vermont's mom chimed in on the accusation...yikes.

This is one of the most tone-deaf tweets I've ever seen.

Wonder what they've got to hide. Every single time I see a headass take on what is loosely defined as 'cancel culture' by some band I'm immediately suspicious. Not a great look!

Singer of Norma Jean being ignorant and reckless.

  19. Can't say this is surprising coming from him. His replies and those from people agreeing with him depress me. Being edgy (especially at 40-something) still is more important than having empathy and common sense I guess.

He’s also a MAGA-hatter so it’s not too surprising. Unfortunately.

  21. I remember his "everyone is welcome to my shows regardless of their political beliefs" stance but wasn't aware of that. That sucks.

  22. I've already lost family to this bullshit fuck this dude and everyone who doesn't follow basic instructions for survival

I've been debating on getting a tattoo. but with this example, bn, etc...i'm thinking my own design with it's own meaning is the way to go, no?

  24. I mean, do what you feel. I don't have a BN tattoo, so I can't speak for those folks (or anyone who has a tattoo related to a problematic artist). Personally, I don't necessarily regret my 808s one. There are no lyrics with it, and I got it during a time in my life when that record really helped me, so it's more a reminder of that period than it is of Kanye. I like the design. But I can completely understand where that wouldn't be the case with other people or artists. If it's something that worries you, I would probably avoid getting something related to a specific person. But I can't guarantee that I won't get something else related to a specific piece of artwork for the rest of my life. It really just depends on your comfort level.

See, i'm very interested in manchester orchestra's simple math art. It's not necessarily the album or band itself (while i love them both), but it's what the song itself means, a particular line of the song and how it's meaning has evolved since the first time i heard it. But kill your idols, right?
