Well I meant since Golden Sun: The Lost Age lol

I was 12-going-on-13 when it came out. I don’t know that I had ever anticipated any piece of media more in my life up to that point. Man that game was great. When the two games’ parties join up at the end it blew my mind. What an experience.

 

I'm at the part where both parties just reunited. This is further than I've ever gotten before. I did the transfer from the first game with the Gold level password. Made sure to get all the Djinn, beat Colosso, help Hammet, rescue Hama, all that. So I got all the best items from the transfer (Golden Shirt, Orihalcon, etc).

Now I've got wings on my boat and I'm flying around getting a few Djinn and diving for the last few Rusty weapons. I have never messed around with the class system and I'm starting to realize just how complex it is. I normally just keep all the Djinn aligned with each character's base element, but I'm looking at the wiki and the system is sooo deep. I kinda wanna mess around with it, even though I'm a few dungeons away from finishing the game. Not to mention the bonus dungeons...

Man, what a game!

I'm looking at the charts and beyond base elemental classes, they have double and triple elemental classes, in addition to classes with the items (Trainer's Whip, Tomegathericon, etc). It's so complicated lol but you can make godlike characters with the right setup

Anyone who played Golden Sun 2 do any of the bonus dungeons to get the best summons? I'm right before the final dungeon (Mars Lighthouse) and I'm wondering if I should bother with the extra stuff.

 

I'm really enjoying Luigi's Mansion 3 but I do have to say I miss the atmosphere of the first one. I know it was a kid friendly game and I was young when I played it but I felt like that game had a genuinely "spooky" aesthetic that's kind of missing here

also Xenoblade 2 looks incredible docked. i didn’t play it this way last time and it really makes a difference. combat is still the best. just really need to emphasize just how incredible this game is

i love how they design open worlds

 

Just finished Astral Chain and god that was a great game. Hope it turns into a franchise.

 

Goddamnit. Now I HAVE to get it. I was on the fence.
