Anyone play Friday the 13th on switch? Surprisingly I still get full lobbies pretty fast.

Really, sailing isn't the problem with the AC games that have it, it's the ship combat specifically that sucks. I hate it and have not enjoyed it in a single one of the games that have had it. Forced ship combat sections absolutely obliterated the momentum of AC: Origins' ending for me and left me coming away from the game with a really bad taste in my mouth.

I haven't played Odyssey yet partially because it puts a renewed emphasis on ship combat.

I totally understand shipping delays with the virus, but don't allow me to be charged extra for special shipping if it can't be provided...

Remappable buttons

 

I did end up starting Luigi's Mansion 3. I'm not very far but I'm already getting super nostalgic for the first one, it feels the same as how I remembered. Graphics and animations are absolutely gorgeous too. Great first impression

 

Can we officially label Labo as a dud at this point? Cool idea, but I never expected it to take off. I haven't seen any updates on it in forever and now they're blowing them out for cheap.

That said, I know Nintendo will put out something like this just to build off it for something that's actually cool in the future. I'm looking forward to seeing whatever that is.

 

I feel like it’s going to be one of those things toward the end of the switch where people were wishing they would have got the labo kits before they were discontinued

It'd be sick if we could remap GameCube controllers but guessing not if you can't on SNES controllers (which I didn't even know were a thing on the Switch??)

 

There isn't a lot of forced ship combat on Odyssey, plus you can upgrade your ship to a point where ship combat becomes really easy and only takes a few minutes. As someone who hates the ship combat, I think it takes nothing away from the experience that is AC Odyssey.
