I think I’ve listened to it at least 5 times but it still never connects besides a few songs

Probably wouldn’t save any of them tbf. DAMN. has some bangers, but I wouldn’t miss them if there was others to choose from.

No Jonwayne, no Roc Marci, no Action Bronson, no ZGTO, no wiki. Poor list.

 

Tribe, Jungle Brothers, any of the Native Tongues crew really. Or there Pharcyde and Souls Of Mischief too.

I appreciate the response but I was meaning like current or newer artists I guess with that same vibe. Great recs though.

 

My 3 from 2017 would have been Wiki, Open Mike Eagle, and Tyler the Creator, but the albums from Wiki and Open Mike Eagle would be a good ways ahead of Flower Boy.

Very easily Flower Boy, 4:44 and DAMN

I do love the JID, 2 Chainz, Uzi and Future albums too, and I think More Life is overhated

 

Hndrxx is the best album on that list by far
