  2. I see any VP of Biden having a much more Cheney-like role in the administration. Which is why I think Warren would be fantastic there.

Yeah I honestly can’t recall anyone in here saying she straight up lied about it.

You're not getting that it also applies to women saying they faced sexism in the workplace.

Yep this is why it would be pretty exciting for me and would be worth her leaving the senate for it.

I don't think Warren is an opportunist I think thats just her politics.

I definitely can see a Biden administration being about the whole administration, and less about the president - almost a direct opposite to what is going on now. I would love to see Warren and Sanders in the fray.

How would you describe her politics?

i was a senate staffer for three years, Anthony is right imo. I mean, what someone does for work doesn’t matter at all. But if you’re dumb enough to think it does, here’s my take.

Wasn’t it a private dinner between two friends? What do you even want exactly? I believe Bernie said something about how he thinks a woman would have difficulty beating Trump. Not even Warren elaborated more than the words “he disagreed.” So I don’t have much more to go on than that. Do you want me to now say Bernie is a sexist and disavow him based off of that?

Now on the other hand Tara Reade is saying she was sexually assaulted in detail, raped and penetrated actually, and the Biden campaign won’t even respond other than a blanket denial. And other women have come forward saying he touched and kissed them without consent. It’s not about Bernie and I’ve been critical of his silence as well because it’s about the whole party turning their back on this victim. I do think there is a difference here and it’s reasonable to be furious at Biden and not Bernie.

Yeah, leave them where they can still fight and try to make a difference as opposed to neutered in a Biden administration that won't allow them to perform their hypothetical jobs in the way they would want to.

I know that Biden's handlers, both in his campaign and likely from the DNC as well, are currently tightly controlling pretty much everything he does and says. Why wouldn't that continue in his administration? Biden's cabinet is going to be selected by his future transition team, which will be staffed by high-level campaign officials and Dem party power brokers. He will have almost no real input, although they'll probably have to try to at least make him think he does.

Also, do you think he's currently competent to be president? Do you think he will somehow magically become competent once taking office?

she wants to reform capitalism as opposed to combatting and believes it can be ethical and more fair.

While her and Bernie overlap Bernie and share the same ideological flaws and setbacks, I think Bernie believes he is combatting Capitalism.

Probably shouldn’t put even a toe of effort into what really looks like a bad faith burner account troll, but...

The idea that Bernie opposed Liz out of sexism is absurd for at least two reasons. One, I’m pretty sure he wanted Liz to run to the left of Clinton before his original run. And, two, w/ how much Clinton people talk about her loss being partially due to sexism, Bernie acknowledging that sexism would give Liz a harder time shouldn’t be controversial; it’s literally him acknowledging the existence of the same patriarchal structure that feminists rightfully acknowledge & get rightfully mad when men don’t acknowledge it.

  22. I’m in this camp. Very real possibility that Biden would have a stroke in office. I’d like to see Warren next in line before Harris or Klobuchar.

There's also likely no chance she takes it even if she was offered it. Unless she's banking on him not lasting the four years lol
