Agreed with both of your posts. This is the best Tilian album, and these are the best two songs. I also love Man of the Year.

Exposed - This is one of the few lyrically great DGD songs. That chorus is ballad perfection.

Chocolate Jackalope - Jon's silly lyrics, Tilian's great melodies, Will's infectious riffing and rapping show what make DGD great.

Betrayed By The Game - This is pop perfection, the chorus makes me feel like I can fly.

Chucky Vs. The Giant Tortoise - I love both of these songs, but Chucky is just a bit faster and more unique. That "Rhino Pico De Gallo" line always makes me smile. And that "dress code, cocktails" line is so brilliant and badass.

Inspire The Liars - This is unequivocally the band's biggest & most important work. This showcases everything thag makes them brilliant in a fun and accessible package.

 

Yeah, these 4 are all among the best of the Tilian era for me, and most are gonna lose. This thread's quickly making me realize the majority prefer fun, lighthearted DGD over super weird and melodic DGD, where I'm the opposite.
