Went back and listened to Nine tonight. It holds up incredibly well. I don't love every song but it's definitely how modern blink-182 should sound like. Super stoked for the deluxe.

I have a friend/acquaintance who almost died from the virus and is currently on the mend. Such a shame he was in the ICU all weekend when he could have just drank orange juice and breathed hot air.

Seriously, how careless can you be to spread information like that?

 

Plus I mean, what could go wrong breathing boiling hot air into your already fucked up lungs? Sounds like a great idea... I honestly can't believe he posted it. It's almost on the same level as telling people to stay away from 5G towers.

If there's a cure or method that helps, it'll come from medical advisers and be reported worldwide in the press. This bullshit witch doctor shit needs to stop.

I hope your friend is feeling better, glad they pulled through.

 

Honestly, it's probably significantly worse than the 5G thing because he potentially had people thinking "I did the magic cure so now I can be around people again!"

But thanks! My friend seems to be semi-functional again, but I just saw him tweet a couple of days ago that the doctor's aren't even sure if he'll ever fully regain is sense of taste. Yikes.

It’ll never stop being annoying that Mark refuses to play some his best songs live for no good/legit reasons. It’s mind boggling. I’m fine not seeing blink live anymore for the rest of my life if they’re
just gonna continue to be stubbornly committed to play the same fucking songs with a little acoustic version of an old song here and there. It’s just such an unambitious attitude to have. And with how outspoken he his about not changing the set lists, it Just feels like a big “fuck you” To fans.

 

Matt Skiba should quit social media and only speak when in an interview and even then, only speak about Blink or Trio.

I don't care for Trio so I can only speak as a fan of Blink, but if he can't shut himself up with his dangerous views and posts, then he shouldn't be in the band. There's an argument that he shouldn't be anyway.

 

Matt and Mark sound quite self aware, bright and engaging in that NME on page 1483. I don’t follow anyone on social media, but that seems to be the place where Matt generates a lot of negative buzz and feedback from. Who knows if it’s on purpose or not.
