Downloaded Animal Crossing yesterday, first of the series I'm playing

Tell me why I immediately felt compelled to haul off and pick 150 weeds

 

I just can’t get into Animal Crossing games the way I want to, I just miss the crushing pressure of a farm teetering on the edge of bankruptcy and dating shallowly written NPCs

I can't really get myself to replay games like that, so I'm waiting for 5

 

Then don't complain, I mean there's a whole new MARRIAGE MODE FOR EACH CHARACTER. But whatever. *Brushes hair aside and pouts*

 

Just as a heads-up, they apparently tuned the demo to be harder than the actual game will be. If the first game was any indication, it won't be that difficult (never played Bravely Second so I can't speak to that one's difficulty).

So if anyone's interested just let me know, or post there.

For those not familiar, basically it's a tournament (a very friendly one, lots of new players, some not so much) where we start by drafting Pokemon to form a team of 10, and then use that team to battle other players weekly. It does take some effort to get into because you'll be planning teams and learning and battling, but it's fun and very rewarding.

 

Please someone join, otherwise @Fucking Dustin will drop out and I won't be able to beat him again

It looks good. Never played any of the series but that's definitely the one i'm going to try eventually.
