Please don't ruin this album by bringing Mark Kozelek into it.

  12. @nohandstoholdonto def give Red House Painters' Old Ramon a listen if you enjoy Ghosts of the Great Highway. My favorite RHP release and two halves of a whole in my mind.

I feel compelled to clarify that just because I said I think I can see why it might drag for some people doesn’t mean I agree - this is my favorite album of the year so far and it’s one of those albums I feel like I’ve been waiting for for years.

can y'all even imagine if we still had the release date as 4/24? lotta bad things about this situation we're in, arguably nothing but, but getting this early isn't one of them bc i feel like putting this on is the what i look forward to doing the most on most days. not to be hyperbolic or too sincere on main but this is the kind of record that makes me believe in art and remember what it's possible to feel when you really connect with something and aren't just consuming for the sake of it. i feel like every listen is more and more rewarding for me and i really love this a lot :)

I don't think that's hyperbole at all, this album is already very important to me

  25. Silly, but I play it every Friday after my 4 pm meeting because it makes me happy and signifies that the weekend is here! Makes me wanna dance around the kitchen.
