Watching episode 9 right now. I don't want to finish this, I know where it's going. Gosh darn it.

Just finished Episode 9 today, and this is hands down the best season so far.

Finished the season, agreed. Helen was a goner the minute she told Nelson, "When the call comes for me, you'll let me know, won't you?"

 

I’m at episode nine now and it’s still exceptional but everything with Ben is hitting way too close to home. This show has never been particularly emotional for me and that has all changed this season.

 

Just finished the season. Probably the best yet. Came to post that Pelphrey was awesome but everyone else already did.

 

Yeah I just finished and this was the best by miles. It’s almost a completely different show. So so good. Really hope they know what the endgame is and keep this quality for the rest of the series. Everything with Ben and then Wendy’s breakdown hit me so so hard.

 

Tom Pelphrey fucking CRUSHED the role of Ben.

Going to be a LOOOONG wait for season 4.

 

Ben and Wendy were both incredible this season.
I did not pick that ending at all.
Really felt like the emotional stuff took this whole series up a notch, that was gut wrenching stuff.

I am always rooting for Ruth, just wish she could catch a break.

Things are going to get very messy in Season 4 with the new alliances/partnerships being built

Wow. I wasn’t sure if I was feeling where the season was going at times, but the way it all tied together in Episode 9 and 10 (the beginning there surprised me) brought me around on the season as a whole. Man, Ben was driving me crazy, reminded me so much of dealing with my brother; give that man an Emmy. The acting in those last two episodes, so many incredible scenes, the reoccurring score — everything was so good. Damn.

Going to miss Helen, she was great. Cannot wait for Season 4, they keep topping their cliffhangers.

 

The end of 8 when Ben goes to yell at Helen is an all time "noooo dude don't do this" hands on your head moment, and in 9 when he tells Marty and Ruth what he did their reactions are perfect. Definitely one of those episodes I literally just laid there for a while to digest it. If I had to make a list of top ten tv episodes it'd have to be in mine

 

Just watched the series over the last few days and I think it’s great and I don’t wanna wait a year for more :c

 

Whew just finished 10, and I want more now. This was probably one of my favorite seasons of TV ever. Ben was an incredible addition to this cast.

 

The scene of him in the backseat of the cab to start off episode 9 alone deserves an Emmy.

Only on S3, EP 7. But Ben is by far the worst character on this show. He ruins every scene he’s in.

Also, my friend told me this is the best season by far, but idk. It’s definitely entertaining and easy to binge, just feels more even more melodramatic than the previous two

 

Give me more Pelphrey in things.

 

I don’t think he’s a bad actor. Just his character, Ben, is terribly written and useless imo

 

I'm sorry, but if there is a useless character it's Helen's daughter. Teenage wannabe hooker with a bad attitude willing to bone any guy that waves beer in her face. I get that her presence plays a role in like episode 9 or whatever. But c'mon. They could have unfolded all the late season drama without her. Boring fucking character.

 

I’m only on episode 9 (3 minute mark) but, I don’t even consider her that much of a character to give serious critique in this show with as little as she’s given. And even with she’s given, I haven’t thought she’s done a bad job at portraying a naive teenager. I will eat my own words though without deleting my previous critique by saying that no matter what I thought of bens introduction into the show, he did a stellar job in ep 8 and has me watery eyed into the little I’ve seen of ep 9.

 

The back end of the season cancels all his early scenes, he was great

 

Exactly, I wasn’t feeling Ben or sure I liked where they were going and why they brought him in until the final two episodes.
