Seems far more likely to me he either fled to Costa Rica or his plane crashed. Her being enough of a criminal mastermind to get away without leaving any evidence seems just as far fetched as Joe framing her with the exception that Joe framing her would fit far better with everything else we know about their characters.

 

again, as I have already said, she found herself with millions of dollars and left a small fraction of it to the guy's children. That may seem like a relatively small moral blip compared to 1st degree murder, but for me it speaks heavily to her character. Those people did not hurt or abuse her. There were very likely harmed by him as well. But she very consciously went out of her way to keep as much of his fortune for herself as possible.

 

yeah. that last scene with him after the trial was maybe the saddest i was throughout the whole thing

 

fair. but we also don't really know exactly what left them. Or what role the husband played in the will. They mentioned something like "under 10%" but didn't state what that was or how they even knew it was 10%. If he really was a multi millionaire, 10% would've still been a lot of money.

The show gives me Making a Murderer vibes in that it’s hard to say who is innocent and who is not, and yes it’s real footage of real people but you also have to account for editing to present things in a certain way
