Random little banter between mark and Tom last night

 

not all of it, unfortunately. there's a few tracks though, including "Lemmings", "Enthused", and an "Apple Shampoo" clip that's on youtube. the Dude Ranch demo tape also has 2 or 3 other songs that have never been released anywhere... siiiigh

 

Neighborhoods has been incredibly comforting the past couple days.

Mark: "Who knows!"

Mark, don't even play around... You don't want to do it... BUT YOU SHOULD!

I know he says dhc I'm saying that in the final version he says "ul and dhc" but it sounds like he says something else and dhc on this demo.

I hate to be that guy but what do they say about their relationship with Tom in that video? Just the typical "wishing him the best" stuff?

 

Just listened to the whole thing. Mark and Matt both talked about their relationship with Tom. Matt considers him a friend still and said he’d be there for him if he could if he needed him. Mark basically said the same thing and talked about how they talked and such before the tour for Enema happened. They talked about a reunion, which they said never say never, but Mark addresses how Tom is happy with what he’s doing and Blink is happy with what they’re doing. No bad blood at all.

 

I think Mark looked a bit irritated with that line of questioning. The way the interviewer asked them was a little meh.

 

Every time Tom has been brought up in the last couple of years, it seems like Mark is more indifferent about him rather than hating him or really missing him. It makes it much harder to give any sort of meaningful answers about the situation because there's not really anything to talk about. Their random interactions on Instagram are probably the extent of their relationship.

 

He’ll come back when he wants the money from the reunion.

 

I hope this means more than just him wanting to post this picture for the fun of it

 

Wish he'd do something with BCR. Even just an acoustic EP of some songs or something.

a reunion tour could be fun and nostalgic, but there’s a 99% chance an album would be a let down
