Took a break from this (and most music) for about a week and god returning to it now it still feels so fresh and vital.

 

Going back to their earlier stuff

 

I just read an interview where they said they have thought about re re-recording those 2 eps because they play all the songs differently now (usually much faster).

 

I don’t care much for those EPs either

 

they should def do that

 

Both EPs are very good

Kawasaki backflip is such a wild opener but imo it never hits that level again for me :/

 

Algernon Cadwallader came up on their Spotify station hell yeah

 

Anyone else just get chills every time at the strings reprise of Ender that closes the album? Such a fucking inspired way to finish.

Would be shocked if anything tops this for AOTY. I'm so excited for all of this to be over and to see these songs live. It will be incredibly therapeutic.

I’m honestly concerned about how long it’s going to take for a sense of normalcy to return to the live music scene....feels like that will be one of the last things to recover fully, if it ever does.

not really in the mood for pop-punk (i'm sure this is an unfair label) these days, but albums this level of quality still scratch that itch at the rare times when i have it
