This album has been growing on me a ton, so many hooks getting stuck in my head.

Anyone else agree that 'Take What You Give' could literally be a Yellowcard song? His vocals even sound like Ryan. All it's missing is a bit of violin in the chorus!

Yeah I mentioned this a few pages back. Sounds exactly like Yellowcard! It’s great song too.

I saw Shane do one of the few River Oaks shows he did a few years ago and it was awesome. I’ll definitely tune into the stream

I hope he plays a few River Oaks tracks. Maybe he'll get to work on the full length during the quarantine.

Really like this album. Take What You Give and Burn It Down are probably my favorite songs.

Anyone watched the acoustic Live show on Facebook yesterday? Shane played Where Are You acoustic among other tracks. Also played The End which was nice.

I did not watch it live but I found a YouTube upload of it last night and watched maybe half of it. I fast forwarded through some songs I didn't know - I've only really been a fan since TIHTWS. Off the top of my head, he played

    Massachusetts
    Toronto (unabridged)
    One Last Dance
    Where Are You
    Aquamarine
    The Afterglow
    My Heroine
    The End
    Still Dreaming

Also he played at least 1 song from each album.

Plus a few more. I don't know the early releases very well. He sounded good and I think he may do more of them. Mentioned that the 20yr tour was rescheduled to begin July 24th which I think seems optimistic at this point.

One thing I noticed hearing Shane play and sing is that he definitely relies on a lot of similar melody lines. I can't come up with a good example just now but I kept getting tickles of "this sounds like another song off TIHTWS or DR".

I think the ones you're missing are Red Light Pledge, Call It Karma (I think?), Replace You, Departures.

He ended with an Elvis cover. I remember he did that at the River Oaks show

And he was only doing one song from the albums for the most part. Plenty of more material to pull from.

He did 2 from DR and 2 from TIHTWS, he was just doing at least 1 from each album. Wish he had played a couple new songs since I've been jamming the new album a ton.

Oh yeah I forgot he ended with his Elvis cover from the Love is Hopeless compilation.

Anyone else still jamming this? I'm so into it. Standouts after like 20 spins for me are Shape Shift, Say Yes! and the closer which I looooove.

also finally listened to quaranstein. Can’t believe how great an addition Paul Marc was to this band.
