They are very good. I could see fans of Deafheaven getting into them. But they take if a step further incorporating things like violins and orchestral passages.

Also, they are from my neck of the woods. I might have to try and catch them.

 

New Ruins of Beverast track from their split with Mourning Beloveth.

 

First time hearing this band and holy hell this slaps

 

One of the best modern Death Metal bands. Better late than never. Welcome to the party!

I haven’t really been able to get into Spotlights. I was into their first album, but I haven’t been into anything since. Perhaps I’ll try again during this quarantine though

 

The chorus is very reminiscent of Shattering The Skies Above. This is solid.
