maybe it was me? my argument still hasn't changed. not that he was great, but that he was worthy of a roster spot as a qb over other players who actually were employed as qbs.

 

To be worthy of a roster spot as a QB in the NFL you still actually need to be able to throw the ball, even if you're in for some gadget play where you're going to run it because you still need to have the threat of it being a pass, otherwise it's a dumb play and it's going nowhere

 

this is a better throw than john beck could ever do

 

I have no sympathy for Tebow nor do I think he was good enough to stay on a roster

 

Pretty sure I can throw a ball better than Tebow

 

My favorite Tebow memory is the following week after that Steelers game when he was absolutely dismantled by the Patriots to the point where Tom Brady punted on a play.

 

I’m willing to concede to Broncos fans on Tebow opinions considering they also had to watch Brock Osweiler.

 

Many a QB were dismantled by the Pats.

 

I refuse to believe Tebow was bad because his playoff win came against the Steelers.

 

Tebow was a 62 OVR rated quarterback but with 99 Physical and 99 Intangibles lol

holy shit, we’ve had the revised “score a TD on the first drive and win” overtime rules since at least this game? Holy shit I thought that rule was only 2-3 years old.

 

Yeah we just hear about it more now because when the Patriots win with the rule or an exciting offense loses cuz they don't touch the ball people get upset

 

But yeah when the debate comes up about the OT rules that's a thought I have often, "no one was upset when it helped Tebow win" haha

 

The Chiefs had so many opportunities to win that AFC Championship game. Christ that debate was annoying.

I'll never not tell this story whenever that Tebow game is brought up, my friend wanted to get tickets to the game and they were super cheap for some reason, I was like "nah I don't want to go it's going to be a massive blowout for the Steelers and not worth it"
