Tebow needed a coach that could minimize his mistakes rather than fully unleash him and result in him flopping. Rex Ryan was not the coach that could do that, hence him not playing haha

Maybe that’s the wrong term. Basically meant he was kept out of the league because people didn’t want to deal with him, not because of his talent level. The only time we ever see that is because players are trouble, not because they’re *too* good/kind/nice.

From what I understand, didn’t Tebow decide he’d rather not be in the NFL if he wasn’t a starter? And then chose broadcasting instead?

 

I met Clausen in real life and the dude's a total dick.

 

He failed to make 2 rosters at all after the Jets I believe (Eagles and Patriots I think were the 2, Patriots for sure)

 

Nope, he just wanted to be a QB and wasn't willing to change positions.

 

Tebow's talent level is what kept him out of the NFL, he's one of the worst passers that's ever played in the league.

I distinctly remember having this conversation a year ago (maybe longer) with someone here, it may have even been you @dorfmac . The man was an absolute dumpster fire QB and didn't want to settle for anything less than that, he was given opportunities to play TE/FB and declined
