Obama telling Republicans to un-endorse Trump is great because now none of them are going to because it will look like they were taking his advice.

I seriously can't wait for the debates. Is it better for Hillary to take it easy and just wait for Trump to put his foot in his mouth, or is it better to go on the offensive?

    Jeez that's painful to read.

Also: "I mean CNN is all Drumpf all the time. It’s called the Clinton News Network. Every story is Drumpf. All day long no matter what it is."

*turns on CNN to prove him wrong*
*have been talking about Trump for at least 20 minutes now*

WA07 primary results gonna be trickling in tonight (top two go on to the main election): Results Detail | Mobile | King County Elections

Pramila Jayapal is up big early. She's been endorsed by Bernie and oozes progressive principles and values.

Joe McDermott and Brady Walkinshaw are neck and neck for the #2 position. Both (Walkinshaw especially) are still very progressive though Joe is a little more soft spoken than Brady or Pramila so its harder to gauge how effective he'd be in congress.

I'd be ecstatic with Pramila winning, still very happy with Walkinshaw so hoping he overtakes McDermott as the votes come in.

At my high school that I work out/graduated from, the AP US teacher is christian conservative. The AP Gov teacher is a sort of Liberal/libertarian mix from what I can tell. Ex Marine, super nice guy.

Seriously. It's probably my favorite thing to happen in the past few months.

Obama to Republicans: ‘Why Are You Still Endorsing’ Trump?

I hope Hillary's team preps the shit out of her for the attacks she's going to get and doesn't give her lame ass disingenuous pivots. She needs to be wonky but more in a way that shows that Trump has no idea what the fuck he's talking about.

If she doesn't sweep up these debates....I feel like there's no way she can't acheive this at least.

Maybe they can both spontaneously combust on the debate stage and save everyone a lot of headache.

Well, only hours after I was waxing on about how proud I was of Missourian politics during this primary, I remember why I was previously so pessimistic. We had a great wave of young black Berniecrats in the Democratic primary, and all of them lost handily. Jason Kander destroyed Cori Bush for the Senate seat by 60 points, Russ Carnahan beat Tommie Pearson and Winston Apple both by 60 points, Chris Koster beat Eric Morrison by 70 points, and this fucking guy won the Republican gubernatorial nomination:

I really had hope for this group. I knew they had a steep road because of the disparity in funding, but it's easy to insulate yourself in St. Louis and forget that there's another 68k squares miles of backwoods Joes exclusively voting for whatever vapid corporate-sponsored candidate is paraded across Channel 5.
