Seriously though, the SSD is probably the most impressive part of the PS5. Sony really put some work into it. I think people will realize that once they start playing the games built for the console.

Didn’t say they wouldn’t be. Doesn’t change the fact that there will be hundreds of games that won’t be playable at launch.

Odyssey is 77 percent off right now and ive never played an AC lol. is this one a good jumping in point or should i find a cheap copy of origins

I played about 7 hours of it and I liked it, but I wasn’t blown away. Could be because I had just 100% Origins the year before I was burned out.

good game for sure tho, was thinking about starting it again this weekend but Animal Crossing says no.


I’d go for Origns tbh I loved it.

They are gonna tell you to get Origins, that's what I did because I saw the same sale. Origins is really fun. Odyssey is free to play this weekend though. I had never played AC either

 

Did not mention PS3 or prior. PS5 is fully backwards compatible with PS4, however they will likely have to phase in a large number of games post-launch because the console will, apparently, run them so efficiently that they won't be able to handle it lol.

He said they tested the top 100 PS4 games and most of them were fine but some of them need to be adjusted somehow before they can work on PS5.

 

This was actually the case when 360 games became compatible on the Xbox One. There were about 100 games when the program was first launched. A lot of testing has to be done on every single game in order to make sure they work correctly. Microsoft is far ahead in back compat, but 100 games is a good start if Sony is doing emulation.

I definitely recommend it, it’s got a good story, great setting, and it encapsulates all that’s good in the franchise.

yeah but these games are old enough that they're only gonna get cheaper and cheaper over time so id rather wait to buy the other
