I mean at this point I’m not as concerned about my getting it (seems inevitable) as I am about minimizing giving it to other people if I were to already have it or get it (since we literally don’t know for weeks if we have it)
So like in the grocery situation I’m touching my cart and payment with cashier, standing in close proximity to people as we wait in line and generally in the crowded stores, etc

vs the pizza store yeah one person is going to touch my pizza and be around it but I have virtually no interaction so hardly any chance to give it to someone else

also I *like to hope* that food places like that are taking it seriously and are on high alert about hygiene and shit.....but that parts prolly just wishful thinking

It’s probably just anxiety but I feel like I can barely breathe right now and it’s the absolute worst timing for that feeling!

I was at Costco to get ramen, spam, chicken patties and chicken salad but the only thing I managed to get was chicken salad because everything else is an ideal doomsday meal and it just sucks.

 

Chain bc I’m poor
But regardless I got too hungry to wait and I made a sandwich and finished off my lunch meat instead
So we’ll revisit this dilemma again tomorrow ok sounds good lol

 

Well no offense but of course! Costco is where people go for doomsday prepping. Try a dollar general or Aldi, I’ve heard those places are much better stocked

 

Yeah, Lidl was the best stocked by far of the places I went to yesterday. The bigger and more popular chains in more densely populated areas seem to be the ones that look like the apocalypse hit. Like where I went Lidl had a fridge full of eggs stacked like eight feet high and tons of cheap bananas and the Kroger that’s literally a half mile away had like eight dozen eggs and two single bananas in the whole store.

I just started that The Lost Girls movie on Netflix (side note, that “top # in the us today” shit has really worked on me lmaoooo) and did not realize that that wasn’t Allison janney

Yeah the reactions to the monkey video were very different than how I felt watching it.

Yeah A bit later I FINALLY saw it and realized lol but for the first while it seriously looked like her. She looks so different here.

 

mostly in how poorly it was framed with regards to sex work unfortunately, not sure I can watch that now

 

Oh really? Damn. Yeah I’m really still hardly in it. There are of course typical reactions and framing but also I feel like it’s balanced with more progressive takes on it as well (several using “sex worker” instead of prositite for example) but idk I’m not even halfway through lol

 

Also I keep saying the lost girls but it’s just lost girls whoops

 

I need to watch that since I love Amy and Gabriel and they’re so good together. And I’m totally cracking up at the idea of mixing her up with Allison Janney.
