Download Australia cancelled because MCR pulled out. Crazy.

my dad is a TM/FOH engineer and has had multiple tours cancelled. I’m pretty worried for him.

I’m in the touring industry as well and everything is in shambles right now job wise.

 

I mean, they’re breaking up at the end of the year, so it’s now or never I guess

 

Carnifex/3Teeth tour canceled.

 

The knock on effect for all these tours is massive. The majority of bands will be promoting new albums which may now be postponed until the touring cyc!e is rescheduled and the way the music industry has changed most bands make all their money touring. There is then all the associated industries like your buses, instrument rental, the venues themselves. Crazy times!

 

I know they are. Just a funny way to market it / word it. I thought this was going to be the farewell tour.

But from my understanding, they’re doing that tour, then touring the UK in the summer, then doing ANOTHER full US tour in the fall as their official farewell tour. I think they’re gonna be hitting most of those cities again on their final tour. During their tour with Thrice, they made a list mentioned they were gonna visit Atlanta two more times this year. This tour is 1/2, and I’m assuming other cities will also be the case

 

Right on. Some cities will see them 3 times this year. I don’t think they have that kind of draw but who knows since it’s an “anniversary” tour (to sell tickets) and a farewell tour. Lol
