Good stuff. Short bangers have always been some of my favorite tracks from Converge so an EP with four of them is more than welcome. I also picked up the Deathwish variant. :D

somehow I wasn't a fan of this EP on first listen but now i'm all about it

 

The EP is a great blast of hardcore energy, I’m into it.

 

Got my EP delivered, fucking hell that reflective sleeve is BEAUTIFUL

 

This band is pretty much unrivaled when it comes to all forms of merch—shirts, vinyl, prints, whatever.

What’s up with their new album? Are they recording or did they just announce they would record at some point this year?

Converge Working On 'Blood Moon' Album With Cave In's Stephen Brodsky & Chelsea Wolfe | Theprp.com

I'd expect this to be a lot different than normal Converge stuff considering Steve Brodsky, Chelsea Wolfe, and Ben Chisholm (Chelsea Wolfe guitarist) are involved. The live Blood Moon performances they did with this lineup a few years ago might be an indication of how this will sound.

 

So we’re getting a regular Converge album and a Blood Moon album?

Would love to hear studio versions of this. Love this version of Last Light.

 

i think i saw them perform cruel bloom with blood moon and assumed he was a member

 

Could be totally wrong but I'm 95% sure it's Brodsky. The more the merrier, though

 

Brodsky is definitely involved. He talked about it on the Lead Singer Syndrome podcast recently.

Also, my understanding is that Blood Moon is reworkings of existing Converge songs but ones they never really played live. Minnesota, In Her Shadow, Grim Heart, etc. I don’t know if there would be new songs written, but the upcoming release would capture the extended-band versions of those album cuts.
