Mandy Moore Is Ready to Be Heard

 

I know this is old news, but I'm still so mad that she was stifled like that for so long. This probably isn't the right sentiment, but as someone who always kinda disliked Ryan Adams and as a huge Dawes fan, I feel validated that after that, she married Taylor and she's got an album out less than a year later and he's on it and his band is backing her on her tour. It sort of seems like exactly what a musician husband should do, and I'm glad she's getting it now.

 

I'm into this. I listened to an interview she gave on Marc Maron's podcast and she talked a bit about how she wasn't able to do anything musically when she was with Ryan Adams. It was very sad to hear. This sounds pretty good so far. Not sure how much it will stay with me, but I'm very happy that she's recording again.

 

Christ, this album is gorgeous.

 

I can finally hear this so soon.

Fiance got me tickets to see her and please, please, please let her keep working older songs into her set. If I see "Gardenia" I might die of happiness.
