Probably not, but I don't know for sure without seeing some more polling and what happens now. I think it makes Biden the odds on favorite to have the plurality, *maybe* majority of delegates though. There's a chance everything snowballs and it becomes a blowout. Hard to predict with certainty.

Is this like the third big blockbuster to get pushed cause of the virus? I don't remember seeing anything like this and this kind of disruption in a while. I am now thinking it's gonna completely fuck any chance of doing a honeymoon this summer.

Looking at the NYT election projections, Biden will likely need to get between 53-54% of the remaining delegates in order to get a clear majority.

I'd personally say its more likely than not that he avoids a contested convention in that scenario but still far from a sure thing.

i mean, this was floated after clinton lost that this would be a wakening in leftist politics and motivate centrist leaning dems to support a more radical candidate since the moderate lost to trump. it's not playing out like this so I don't see this being the case for 2020 either.
