Premiere: Princess Nokia & Silverstein Finally Join Forces For "Madness"

 

I think Shane’s vocals and melodies will carry this band as far as they want but I find the guitar on these newer songs frustratingly boring. On an unrelated note this song’s also got heavy BMTH amo vibes. Nokia sounds just like Dani filth on wonderful life lol.

 

I saw in some pictures that they have someone on keys for the current tour, any word on who is playing with them?

Madness is dope but that Princess Nokia feature is pointless and takes me out of the song.

 

Songs rules and Princess Nokia is perfect

 

I thought it made the song even better tbh.

 

Nothing about her feature seems out of place to me, makes it all the better

 

they're playing a free show at amoeba hollywood on 3/26 not sure if its acoustic or electric

 

Yeah Princess Nokia's feature was a highlight of the song for me too.

 

I liked the Princess Nokia feature so much I checked out both of her new albums

This is floating around out there, and it's really good, but the lack of traditional Silverstein vocal melodies is noticable. That's not bad or good, but this record is a very different version Silverstein.

'Shape Shift' & 'All On Me' are great THAT SAX THO. Not done with the record yet, but this is just what the band needed.

 

Dang, the last 5 tracks are a nice/strong stretch to close this thing out.

Madness is still my least favorite.

 

It weirdly reminds me of the last issues album

edit: the first half of the album at least, I kinda take that back for the second half

 

Albums alright. I like a bunch of it but it doesnt do a lot to grab me and make me want to listen to it over and over like past albums have.

I’m hoping I like some of the unreleased tracks.

Unfortunately I don’t care for Madness the same way most of this thread does. Burn It Down and Infinite are solid if unspectacular. Bad Habits I can take or leave.

I love this album. Every song has its own identity. Only one I'm not sold on is Say Yes, it's too cheesy.
