it's pretty remarkable that there is all this hype for tonight, and theres not one single gimmick match. just singles and tags for reasons that people give a shit about.

anyways my quick predictions:
Hager over Dustin
Nyla over Kris
Pac over OC
Darby over Sammy
Bucks over Kenny/Hangman
MJF over Cody
Mox over Jericho

 

I think Cody wins, and Jericho retains dirty but otherwise I agree

because he's the grandson of a plumber I'm expecting Cody to book himself losing to underhanded tactics

now is the time to pull the trigger on Mox - he's the hottest wrestler in the world right now

 

one thing that bothers me about the AEW production is that they allow no breathing room between entrance themes being played

 

You're not wrong from a booking standpoint. But to me, from a storyline standpoint, Mox hasn't shown that he has enough to overcome Jericho's faction. At least not in a straight-up 1 on 1. Give him a stipulation to even the playing field at the next PPV and put him over there

I think they’ll give it to Moxley tonight but I think it wouldn’t be a bad idea to hold off until the next PPV to let it build a little more

Lots of possibilities tho which is nice

 

the only problem is that AEW's next PPV is in 3 months - feels like "the number games" type booking might be played out by then.

maybe they book it tonight in a way that Dustin and Darby take out Hager and Sammy in a way where they can't interfere later tonight and maybe an unlikely alliance shows up to counter the PnP factor.

 

I'd love for Omega to turn heel tonight and set up a Mox/Omega program for Double or Nothing in May

 

Jericho wins tonight IMO. His heel champ work has been too outstanding to end

 

Also, even though it isn’t a long run (it would take him off TV for maybe 2-3 weeks) Fozzy is touring in April/May
