Curious how they spin bray tomorrow night on smackdown, I feel like they will have him cut a promo saying “it wasn’t about the belt/he didn’t need it”

or pull a kofi and just act like he never had it to begin with

 

None of that, he'll pull cena in after his fast 9 promo


And they probably won't even mention it outside of talking about how goldberg won the title to promote supershowdown being cool and good, despite it being the opposite

 

It's going to be the Bray Wyatt problem all over again. He's going to act like it never happened and thus starting the snowball effect of last time.

Bray CAN lose...it's the response that matters.

On the flip side, Goldberg can't win. I don't give a fuck about the aftermath. There is literally nothing that can salvage my hatred for goldberg winning the title. If anything it's gotten me to realize what a shit he's been for never putting anyone over, ever.

 

i have to imagine they've cooled hard on Lars. his online controversy/shittiness into his anxiety fueled absence into his injury is a bad first impression. second hand history tells us Vince's flavors of the month have a very small window in which to become a success or he drops them. the big man quota is comfortably filled right now.

I don’t see Lars ever coming back and if he does I can’t see him getting past mid card.

Also, why would anyone expect Ricochet to do anything? Usually when someone is challenging for the Main Title, they headline segments or start the show. I can’t even remember seeing Ricochet on raw since he became the contender. I’m sure he was on, but for what? Like a minute or two?

 

Getting upset with main roster WWE is just not worth any of my emotional energy anymore. NXT and AEW rule. Going to put that energy towards loving those and will kinda just laugh at Goldberg (even if I am stoked for The Berg vs Roman)

 

Good thinking. Also just don’t understand the AEW hardcore fans that think people can’t like WWE and AEW at the same time. What does it matter if you like both?

 

I have trouble understanding people who like main roster WWE and AEW because well, main roster WWE is trash and nobody should like it.

 

im less upset AT wwe and more upset FOR bray and the countless other casualties of duct tape booking.

 

if anything today's booking proves that VKM doesn't give a shit about any of his full time wrestlers.

 

I realize Seattle probably has me spoiled a bit, even better than just tuning into AEW more people who are fed up with the way WWE is running things should check out their local indie promotions. turns out top level in ring talent and high production values isn't the only thing that gets you to care about wrestlers. I've legit had more fun at some of the recent 321 shows here than even watching the best takeovers.

 

I love you all, but how much do you have to hate yourself to still put yourselves through non-NXT WWE when there are so many other options?

If the rumors of wwe trying out a different model for their major ppvs in terms of pricing then that's the end of me. The WWE network is just so cheap. I'm splitting it with my brother so $5 a month to laugh at wwe but watch mania and rumble and summerslam and fall asleep to classic wrestling is a steal

But if they start making us pay more or full price for mania and rumble... then that's it. I'm not paying anymore than this for wwe

I have truly not watched WWE except the Royal Rumble and the Raw after rumble for the past 4 or 5 months and it has been terrific. Join me fam.

 

I try not be to down on WWE these days. I'm 37 in a couple of weeks and it's a TV show, there's no point getting worked up about it. But man, judging by the results (sod watching it), SSD really was WWE at their worst. With the exception of Morrison picking up gold again so soon after returning, there are no positives to take from any of it.

It also shines a light on how much Heyman is influencing Raw and how much Pritchard knows what Vince likes. The Raw matches seemed off from their normal booking, yet Smackdown matches went as expected.
