Love the song, love the concept, love the little animations especially. Such a perfect band for a series like this.

 

Apparently a song with Kevin Parker is coming soon. That can't not be great.

New song seems to be incoming based off the band socials

 

The additional voice clips make me want that Gorillaz TV show even more

especially the foreground/background bit.

 

I think the voice clips are too British for me lol, I barely understand them

 

Am I only the way finding a lot of the newer stuff since Now, Now a little underwhelming?

I love the Gorillaz. I still jam Demon Days & s/t regularly, & Plastic Beach to a lesser extent. But this all feels a little under baked, imo.

Still good & way chill. Not dragging it, jw if anyone else feels the same. If not then I’m clearly out of touch. Lol

 

Eh, I disagree. I think overall the project has felt less focused, but they still put out tracks that are the same quality as before, just not as often.

 

I like this one, don't love it but it's definitely grroooooovvvvyyyy

I feel the groove in my bones. I think this is much better than the first one. Thoughts?

I loved Momentary Bliss. Pretty meh on this new one, but that could be because I know there's a Tame Impala collab out there and I was pissed that this wasnt it haha

Yeah, Momentary Bliss was a huge hit with me. It will be hard to top that one.

 

I only listened through once and was very underwhelmed. I should give it another shot, but I've been too occupied with other new music that grabbed me right away.

Damn I must've missed that! Urgh I hope it's real though.

 

I understand that. Compared to the first record it doesn’t have the same “wow” factor, imo.

 

New song is super catchy, I actually love it. Not familiar with the feature but she seemed like she was having a blast in the video too lol
