I like burgers on a propane grill with a little wood on the rare occasion I can do that since Im in an apartment

 

no need to conceal a yoga boner though

I stan so hard for cast iron for steaks tho - I dont take a steakhouse seriously when they use a grill

 

oh don't get me wrong, i love to grill and I love grilled burgers. the more I think about it, the more I'm torn between grilled burgers & cast iron burgers

 

charcoal grills can get hot enough for a great sear and you get the added bonus of the smoke from melting fat dripping on the hot coals

 

my gas grill absolutely rips, but the charcoal has better smoking abilities.

 

I fuck with charcoal almost zero

use wood

 

my gfs brother bafflingly tried to smoke some ribs with charcoal last year - it was the worst culinary experience of the year for me

don't you need to use soaked wood with the charcoal for it to smoke? i don't get it
