I watched Tammy and the T-Rex. Good god what an awful film. I went in want a so-bad-it’s-good sorta flick but what I got was simply horrible.

also, the regal near me is showing The Lodge, been wanting to seen this since i first heard about it at festivals. seeing it after work today! wooo

 

same with me, haha... for years I never saw the entire movie cuz I could never get past that part

 

Obviously I don’t recommend this movie since the director is a convicted pedophile...

But Jeepers Creepers scared the shit out of me when I was like 8 years old. Haven’t seen it in years but that Police station sequence is burned into my memory

 

The Lodge is finally playing near me too. Think I'm gonna go tonight or tomorrow.

couple years ago I watched this documentary on Netflix (I wish I remembered the name) that was basically one big essay on movies depicting teenagers and they argued how Jeepers Creepers was one big metaphor about Justin Long’s character’s struggle to come out the closet, something I definitely didn’t see coming

also apparently The Boy 2 completely throws all the logic of the first film out the window lol

 

Plot looks similar to the new season of Castle Rock. Seems interesting.

 

Just left The Lodge, pretty disappointing imo. Overall kinda tense but cheesy in lot of places and almost zero payoff

 

Bummer to hear, I was actually looking forward to it.

 

I thought it was decent overall but it was a little too slow of a slow burn.

I hope this potential cast ends up being real.

 

The Midnight Meat Train. Holy shit - what a movie. I didn’t know where it was going and I loved the ending. Gore was also top notch and went way harder than I expected.

 

Midnight Meat Train is a lot of fun. The ending was my favorite too.

I had read the Barker short story before this originally came out and I thought there’s no way they’re going to end the movie like that. And then they did and I couldn’t believe how willing to go off the deep end they were haha. So awesome.
