I can't imagine that the LP issue is drug related since other members have had their fair share of a past. But maybe that would be why they wouldn't want him around.....honestly, I don't know.

I could not even begin to name my top 10 songs to good on ya to everyone who can but otherwise this thread has just been full of absurd assertions.

 

I'm gonna try to not over think this.

HM: One Year, Six Months

 

It's interesting: Southern Air is my favorite Yellowcard album, but I would probably hit two more Lift a Sail songs before I got to my next Southern Air song.

 

Gonna change this up. I think I made a perfectly flowing collection of rainy day/more emotional songs and i'm kinda proud of it. Try to give it a listen if you can.

I particularly think the first half is awesome and flows super well.

"City of Black and White" is a fucking great song.

 

Such an amazing track. I also love Imaginary Numbers from the Maine, especially the two tracks I put on the playlist.

Life A Sails title track should've been the closer imo

 

It is the best song on the album so it fits.

 

"California" is the perfect closer. I love the sequencing for the back half of that record.

 

I like California as a closer a lot don't get me wrong, but I think I'd like LaS more

 

That said. PW, SA, and LaS title tracks are probably my 3 favorite YC tracks not named You Me and One Spotlight

 

Yeah good point, I don't know how I forgot about California. I don't really see it fitting anywhere else on the album. Imagine how jarring that'd be as an opener lol

I just noticed I didn't have any WYTTSY on my top 10. I really like that album but idk, doesn't stick with me like the others

 

Needed more violins

 

The electronic flourishes on LaS are really nice touches though.

Super excited for LP8, Hoping for a darker rock album. One last little experimentation before they hang it up

 

So how do we all feel about OFTK? It's got some jams. Definitely sounds like a blueprint for OA.

 

It's not a bad album by any means, but in the talk of their whole discography I don't think it holds up and is at the bottom.
