It really depends on your weight, if you are on the “lighter” side you will want to have a higher calorie intake so what you eat will get retained in your muscles. Personally I don’t really follow strict diet (lean heavily toward protein based) and usually 3,000 to 4,000 calories a day. Back in October I weighed myself at about 200, now I think I’m close to 210? Sometimes my water weight fluctuates a bit. I also attribute to working out 70-90 minutes 5 days a week too.

Protein and creatine supplements also help with retaining weight as well. But yeah... everyone is different, lol
