I just noticed in season 2, Troy says there were 8 Saw movies when the 8th one only came out two years ago. Surprised Harmon let something like that slide by lol

 

. Yeah I really only noticed it because I couldn't believe there were that many Saw movies (I thought there were like 3 or 4) so I googled it and my mind was fucking blown. I can't believe they pumped that many out of that shitty franchise lol.

Dan Harmon just seems like such a controlling perfectionist so I was a bit surprised by it

started this last night on a whim and i'm about to binge the shit out of it.

 

it starts out amazing
then it gets more amazing
then it gets somewhat worse but still amazing
then it goes to shit
then it goes back to being great
then it’s a little less great but ends very strong

have fun

 

always thought it was just a shitty sitcom but once i saw dan harmon was part of it i decided to check it out. not mad about it at all

 

Back half season one and all of season 2 are just SO good. One of my favorite comedies.

 

Yeah S2 has a strong case for my favorite season of television ever, full stop

 

it never gets shitty, just less amazing

 

Alison did an AMA today and when asked about a Community movie she said “actually got an interesting call about it this week...stay tuned”

 

Just came here to post this! Trying not to get my hopes up, but I feel like she knows better than to do that to the fans unless she got a really promising call about it

Yeah, "got a call" is a much more interesting development than "the cast is interested", I'm gonna allow myself to become cautiously optimistic now lol

It was an AMA on Reddit with Jeff Baena (and from his account) about her new movie Horse Girl

 

With NBCUniversal wanting more content on their existing IP for Peacock, I would not be surprised if we get some sort of new Community related movie/reunion special.

 

I wonder who gets to make that decision though. It's also a Sony production and I think they're the ones who had the power to move it to Yahoo for S6, but idk

 

Sony doesn’t have their own streaming service (yet) so if NBC is willing to pay to produce a movie they’d probably say yes. Although it’s weird with the rest of the show streaming on Hulu, which is also partially owned by NBC for the time being.

I know they themselves started the movie hashtag, but I genuinely wonder if Harmon ever actually had any idea what he wanted the movie to be about.
