I've been thinking that he's going to announce his departure since like 2017. It just seems more and more like Homesafe is meant to be treated as more than just a side band.

Man I get not liking Homesafe, but this is a bold statement when both Makeout and Story Untold exist in this timeline.

Which is funny because they couldn’t even fill up a 400 capacity venue in their hometown a few months ago. I feel like he’s making a mistake putting way more of his time and energy into a project that really isn’t THAT popular.

 

Homesafe just play very forgettable pop punk, when they opened the KP tour in 2017 all of it just blurred together.

 

A lot of pop punk bands mentioned here play very forgettable pop punk.

 

Those bands are Not Great™, but everyone is pretty aware of that. Even their fans don't think they're the best band ever.

Homesafe fans hype them up as if they're the most exciting or freshest band in the scene, when they really just make generic guitar/bass/drum alternative that sounds like it's 25 years too late.

 

yeah I mean I don’t mind Story Untold personally but I don’t think anyone rates them very highly same with Makeout though I guess they have some attention but the negative seems to outweigh the positive with them.

 

All 3 are lame and nothing new.

 

Pearl Jam fall tour coming. Apparently playing two shows at the United Center in Chicago in September.

the answer is yes. Hell everyone on here knew he doesn’t have that kind of pull anymore

 

He is one of the biggest acts at the minute here in the UK easily bigger than both bands.

Yes, Columbus was postponed then eventually canceled on the blink tour last year.

Just noticed Lag and BS are both on that Punk In The Park lineup, so I hope that means we finally get a proper LTJ headliner in SoCal again
