Quiet hiatus is what I’ve heard.

 

It’s a shame Composure didn’t seem to gain much traction. I thought it was probably their best work.

Honestly, wasn't too impressed by Composure. It probably would've grown on me and I would've listened to it more, but it was just mastered to sound so crunchy and rough it was a bit hard to get into.

 

Composure was the first thing I’d been really excited by from them since their EPs but then they went and toured with JJR which left a pretty sour taste in my mouth

 

I have a soft spot for Maybe This Place, but Composure was a step in the right direction.

 

Wiped all their socials. New stuff coming?

 

Or the hiatus hinted at. Hope not!

 

Maybe it’ll be an apology for bringing Keep Flying in tour

Damn this sucks to hear. Composure was such a great album, I was really optimistic about the future of this band.

 

Yeah - super bummer. He's the lead vocal, correct?

Oh. After their best record. Which he had a massive hand in writing.

Yeah no way they come back from this. He was the only likeable one in the band.

 

Just not interested in anything this band puts out without him in it.

Huge loss. As someone who’s been going to Real Friends shows every year since 2013, this really sucks. A lot of memories tied to this band.

 

dans lyrics in real friends have gotten me through some dark shit. this genuinely hurts my heart

 

Yeah, he was the big personality in this band, and it's always hard for a band to lose their frontman. But given how public his mental health struggle has been over the past 4 or 5 years, especially since his Bipolar diagnosis, I can't say I'm surprised. I obviously wish him and the rest of the boys the best, and am excited to see what they have in store next.

 

He seems like a real sad guy - maybe mental health stuff?
