You guys are making it sound like that these guys are gonna get a huge push, when in reality they won't. They will either be putting guys over or beating up jobbers. I'm cool with it as long as they aren't getting put in major feuds and getting pushed to the moon.

 

Anyway WWE would bring back Matt and let him run with this gimmick ?

 

I'm pretty sure his contract was coming up soon. They were struggling to sign a few of the guys.

The most recent set of tapings ended without top stars Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, Drew Galloway and EC3 signing new TNA contracts. All four talents are still under contract, however, so there’s no issue with them signing elsewhere between tapings, but they remain under old deals and TNA was hoping to lock them down to new deals at the end of the last set of tapings.

 

It'd be cool to see him back, I know Jeff has expressed his desire to come back. I'm sure Jeff returned, I'm sure Matt would wanna join him.

 

I think it would definitely be a package deal. I don't think they are going to get the matches/money they was though. I think they are a good fit for Smackdown. Then again, it did not work out for the Dudleys at all.

 

The Dudleys just inked a new deal, and I was reading that surprisingly they have enjoyed the role they were put in.

 

One thing thing I will say about the Dudleys since they have came back is that you can definitely tell they have been having fun and working with the younger talent has been a joy for them.

I had no idea when to expect it but I just assumed early next year, glad we only have to go another month or so without Lucha.

 

Curious to see how long they go before filming the follow up season.

Jeff seemed pretty determined to come back to WWE after his TNA deal was up during mania weekend. Said he was going to do whatever he can to get there. Don't know if they'd have him back at this point though

 

So CWC thoughts:

I can see why people like ZSJ, but the ultra technical stuff just isn't for me. I like my flippy shit and my popup powerbombs.

Middle two matches were alright I guess? Nothing super memorable though.

Kendrick did a fantastic job turning heel without saying a word. Only thing I didn't like was Bryan marking out over Kendrick. I imagine that they are friends and have a lot of history together, but still very heelish behavior coming Bryan there that doesn't really fit his character.

 

Yeah I thought the same about ZSJ. It's really interesting to watch and he's ridiculously smooth, but I want something other than transitions. Maybe it's cause Dux was also a technical guy but idk. Kendrick and Mendoza stole the show. I forgot how good of a heel Kendrick can be. Especially at the end there. Loved it. I thought it was kinda funny seeing DB being so biased. Yeah it's weird for his character, but it just shows how much of a fan DB is too

 

the roster isn't big enough for a split which is why they're looking to fatten them up with older "stars", i dont see anything wrong with that. Now I think that a guy like Nakamura would go a lot further in making the content feel fresh then say Rhyno, but I don't think adding Carlito, Morrison is going to hurt. As I previously said, bringing back woman veterans is what i'm mostly interested in. Both rosters could use 1 or 2 more women...and Melina is awesome so.
