I honestly don’t know how I’d place DTWF, Wind Shifts, Dead Reflections, and Shipwreck. Top four for sure, but it’s hard for me to rank. They’re all good for different reasons.

 

Those four and I Am Alive are my top 5 I know. In some order lol

7-5 could honestly all change at any given time, but I'm confident in the first half of my list.

Probably between 6 & 5, not taking the covers into account.

'Short Songs' is weird for me cause you have songs like "One Last Dance" "Sleep Around" & "Brookfield" which are some Silverstein's best works in my opinion, but that vast majority of the more Hardcore-influenced tracks don't do much for me. I do get the vibe they are having a ton of fun on this record though, so I don't dislike any of it either.

 

Yeah most songs are too short to really get a feel for them.

Just snagged tickets to the 20th anniversary tour... very excited! I'm getting antsy for this album to come out now haha! @Drew Beringer or anyone else who's gotten to hear it, any more thoughts on the full album?

Madness is so sick. Awesome, classic Silverstein chorus. Verses and riffs are a bit different than what they'd normally do, but that bridge is awesome. Wish they utilized Princess Nokia's voice more, that whisper/scream was cool from her, but I was waiting for her to explode and start singing during that last chorus and it just never happened.

 

Where did you hear it?

 

They premiered it on BBC Radio 1 an hour ago. Around 3:25 CST.

Just found it on KL! This definitely sounds great! If the rest of this album is as solid as this and Infinite then I’m very hyped

 

The Princess Nokia feature works well with the track. I had some fears that it would feel forced.
