Oh man!

 

i wonder if rage is gonna actually do a full tour. i could see them and a7x being on mayhem... with all the tours that have already been announced and them coming out and saying its going to be "something completely different this year" they go way off in left field and get rage to headline and a7x to co headline

 

Not gonna happen too much $$$

 

Anything is possible. Nothing is ruled out till it’s announced

 

So, they're really going to do a 9 song medley, but Apologize by OneRepublic, yeah, let's give that the full song treatment.

 

Eh considering they are playing 26 songs nobody can really complain though I was suprised to see Apologize on the setlist. I've seen them like 15 times and they've only played that cover once so at least its something rare. Honestly interested to see what the medleys sound like.

no one knows who is playing. rage could be on it for all we know. no one knows anything they are keeping this year tightly sealed and locked away

 

Rage isn't coming back to do a co-headlining tour with Avenged Sevenfold. Let's use our brains here.

 

This. They also aren’t coming back to play Mayhem Fest. They are way bigger than Mayhem Fest and don’t need to be on it at all. It’s just common sense.

My local rock radio station in Nor Cal (Chico, Sacramento area) said a big metal concert announcement coming tomorrow. Maybe that Lamb of God and Megadeth tour? And/or Mayhem?

 

Blabbermouth reported the Lamb of God tour should be announced tomorrow, so probably that

 

Coheed is the only band that matters

 

Pete & Bas and The Snooker Team are headlining Mayhem Fest.

 

I haven't seen Coheed yet, but I'm very excited to pour one out for musicfan10 when they inevitably play Riot Fest this fall and see them there.

 

I saw Coheed once and was very impressed.

 

There's 2 other bands on that Megadeth/Lamb Of God tour. Any ideas who it could be

 

I could see Gojira possibly being on it.

 

Hatebreed was a part of the initial rumors when it was thought to be Mayhem Fest. Could still see it being Megadeth / LOG / Hatebreed / someone else (probably some smaller thrash metal band)

Someone posted in the Poppy subreddit that shes touring with Deftones/Gojira this summer. Obviously not a great source but I'd go.
