that audio tree session is something special. this band is so relatable for me. i can't wait to see what they have in store for us next.

 

This bands guitar tones are something else.

The Season reminds me of Mean Everything To Nothing in a really good way

 

Had a random thought/wishful thinking moment that the reason the LP is taking so long is because Gordon came back and they re-recorded everything with him. They're still probably my favorite band to see live besides Brand New, but their show lacks a certain something without Gordon behind the kit..

 

Haha although this isn't true, I agree with you.

Gordon went back to school I think, and he does photography now.

 

I posted a while ago but the lineup they recorded with was, Mike on bass, Andy Hull/Nate on guitar, I can't remember the drummer's name, but he has a beard and was really nice the two times I met him. Kyle is on guitar now in place of Mel on their tours, but didn't record the new album with them.

That should the be lineup unless they re-recorded things, of which I'm unaware.

Sitting here listening to their old Daytrotters and perusing Twitter.

This was over a month ago.

 

He told me in an email it's coming really really soon and a tour to follow!

So just so I'm clear, there IS an album coming this year it's just a matter of when?

 

We weren't lying earlier. We are quite literally expecting a lead single and album announcement any minute.

Album is done as far as everyone knows.

All Get Out totally are the new Brand New or Manchester Orchestra at least, I kept saying that after Movement came out

 

I first saw them in 2008 opening for MO and they completely upstaged them. Not a sound was made during the quiet part in Let Me Go "Part II" at the time, and I had goosebumps for the entire second half of it.

 

Give me another AGO LP. My waiting is becoming impatient.
