D Smokes new release is hittin the spot for me. Rythm + Flow def achieved its goal of finding a star from the streets imo.

the Hayley EP didn’t hit me where I expected it would. First singles created fairly high expectations for me though.

 

Spanish Love Songs, Hayley, Loathe, probably check out Green Day too.

The new Bashful album is out today. Richmond pop punk with members of Spraynard, Bat Boy, Teen Death, Doll Baby, Smoke Break, Hold Tight!, etc.

Yeah, it’s... fine. Good. Reminds me of The Menzingers. Happy to get more quality music, but there’s nothing there that really stands out for me.

Really digging this Super Whatevr album. I’ve enjoyed some of their stuff before, but I’m 4-5 songs in and they’re all bops.

The Halsey & Bring Me the Horizon collab for Birds of Prey is awesome.

 

I think this was the album Green Day needed to make now- nothing too serious, quick hitting, different, catchy, not a rehash of previous work. Really enjoying it more than I expected as well.

So many people talking about Spanish Love Songs has me feeling super out of the loop.

Is there anything by SLS that I should check out prior to hearing the new album?

 

Their 2018 album Schmaltz is also great. Can't go wrong with that or the new one.
