trade helps miami free up space in 2021 since hill and crowder are both expirings. i just don’t see them being able to land the big piece they seem to be going all in on. there’s no question the roster, as currently constructed, is worse for this season than it was a week ago

JJ has played 18
And Dion has played 3

I really don’t see how you can think this. Waiters and Johnson were exiled from the team at the start of the season for character issues and being out of shape, respectively. Waiters has only played in 3 games, and Johnson only 18. Both have guaranteed contracts next year, whereas Crowder and Hill are both expiring.

We got rid of 3 players that have barely had an impact on the team this season and gained 3 that can come in and contribute.

 

I haven’t watched enough of Memphis to know much of Crowder this season or Hill.

Looks like Crowder is shooting a career low from the field. How’s his defense look now? @DaydreamNation

 

Crowder and Hill being actively bad is worse than Waiters/Winslow/JJ barely playing at all

 

“can come in and contribute” is the part that seems like a pretty generous stretch
