But aren't all the IA03 votes counted? I thought we were just waiting on IA01

  2. For those doing the math at home.

  3. Pete leads by 4.7 SDEs in IA-3 and 3.43 state wide. In iA-1 Pete and Bernie are locked in at 2 delegates each, Warren is behind Biden by about 5.5 SDE, if she were to pass him, she'd steal his. (IA-1 can help Bernie pass Pete state wide, though, and get to 13-13.)

I want to watch this further for the peace of mind that would come with knowing that Bernie technically won outright by all three metrics, but ultimately i can’t imagine a world in which it matters at this point and i just want to move on to caring about NH+onwards.

Yes I understand all of this. 13-13 is very much in reach.

14-12 Sanders isn't unless you have an explanation for how Sanders can find another 4.7 SDEs in IA-3

  7. Btw. still errors for both candidates in the results.

  8. Both flip.

    Both of what flip?

IA-01 can't flip. They are both pretty much locked at 2. Biden's 1.450 is the only thing rounding up and that is out of reach.

I'm assuming there isn't enough stuff left in count in any of the other districts to flip those.

PELO will flip if Sanders gets +4 SDEs from IA-01, that is very much in reach. So that is how Sanders goes from 12 to 13.

At-Large, maybe if Biden does well he can steal another delegate from Pete, but Sanders is already rounding up so will still be at 13.

  11. IA3 and state wide. Didn’t I already say that? I’m flipping tabs and apps fast. Neither are complete.

  12. Oh no. I ... need to check this.

Got it. I thought it was just the IA-01 satellite left. DIdn't realize there was still that much other stuff left in IA-03

  18. Man I know it doesn't really have any electoral significance at this point, but I want so badly to have the pure personal vindication of Bernie having eked out a victory in SDEs as well, as meaningless as that metric is

I spend 10 minutes trying to understand this and then gave up, but imagine if this ends in Pete doing the math one way and putting himself ahead and Bernie doing the math another way and putting himself ahead and the actual rules being vague enough that its not clear who is right.

  22. I’m also trying to figure it out. As are others online. Here’s what I’m seeing.

  23. Fannnnntastic.
Imagine the shit show if they were doing it in a way that helps Bernie (which is what is happening right now). And then change it.

    I . . . can’t.

  24. I can do the math in ways that the rules can be interpreted that give or take away, I think, 3 SDE from Bernie. Right now they are reported as giving them to him.

So. Fuck me this is a so dumb.

Would be nice to say that Bernie unequivocally won Iowa no matter how you look at it
