Considering they've been chasing him for so long, I should imagine he'll be getting quite the pay day. He's a favourite of Regal too apparently, so I should think they'll keep him on NXT/NXTUK and build him a bit more than they did with Gulak.

No one from the CWC has really had that much of a career since 205 debuted. Apart from Mustafa Ali I guess. And anyone who has done relatively well (Murphy, Carillo) were brought in a good year or so after it started.

Raw has actually been pretty solid the last two months or so minus the Lana/Lashley/Liv/Rusev thing. And even that seems to have finally ended. Hopefully. Commentary is better with Phillips and Saxton. King is still king. But the killer is the 3 hours. It would be so much better at 2

Where the hell is Ali? I don’t watch Smackdown regularly but I feel like I haven’t even heard his name in a long time

Same dudes as that crazy 8-man tag I posted in here a couple months back. These guys need to get booked somewhere Mania weekend.

The commentating is terrible. Watched the rumble and I always feel like JR sucks a lot but I realize I just haven’t heard main roster commentary in so long my standards changed lol. Main roster commentary is so obnoxious.

Ryan Satin proposed Kross/Scarlett interrupting Goldberg Friday. Idk what you do for the finish but if they wanna hotshot him that could be something...also seems like something Vince could be on board with

I'm really curious to see how Scarlett is used. She's going to be money, for sure. I just hope it isn't horrible like the Liv angle.

There’s no way it’s not super sexual, especially if she’s up for it. I could be wrong. But based on what they did with Liv it’s hard to be optimistic

I'm not familiar with Killer Kross, but when was the last time that WWE had a debuting guy go right up to the main roster? I could be wrong, but I feel like it was AJ. Not counting returning guys like Morrison or Lashley of course.

    Mike Bennett?

Ah yeah forgot about him. Although even in his case it could be argued that he only debuted on the main roster because he was paired with a return in Maria.

The O.C. didn't go through NXT either

To be fair tho, McIntyre returned and went to NXT

Yeah that is true. Forgot about that. But I guess that's further evidence to show how rare it is that a guy skips NXT and debuts right on the main roster. I think it was AJ who even said something to that effect on a podcast a couple of years back. That he was one of the last ones to have a full debut right into the spotlight of the main roster/main event scene and that most guys after that would go through NXT first.

I think it more has to do with how high profile you are more than anything else. Drew should have gone to NXT. Kenny Omega should absolutely debut right away.

Yeah I definitely agree with all of that. So I guess my question is, is Killer Kross that big of a name to debut on the main roster right away? Seriously asking only because I don't know who he is, but I also don't follow the indies anywhere near as close as others here so I have no idea how big of a name he is.

Me? No. But there's also a new dynamic at play here of AEW. If a talent you want says "debut me on Monday Night Raw or i'm going to AEW" is that a dealbreaker for you? That wasn't a factor when guys like AJ and the OC were debuting ya know?

I'm not saying KK said that or anything i'm just saying it's part of the conversation now.

Just to be clear, I don't really think he should debut on the main roster. But I also don't really see a place for him in NXT right now, and I don't think it's an awful idea to start building him now for an Andre Battle Royale win at Mania, then put him in the Smackdown main event scene. It's a classic case for me of, "I don't know what it is, but he has IT". But, no matter what happens, he'd get zero reaction in Saudi Arabia, which is unfortunate.

also just remembered the time Killer Kross challenged Batista at Bloodsport

Wasn't Braun straight to the Wyatt Family? I can't remember if that was before or after the OC.

Yeah, Braun skipped NXT. But he is WWE made.
