Sounds to me like the process was always ratfucked, the new rules and more transparency just exposed the ratfuckery when previously they all got away with it

Seems to show just how caucuses are a bad idea -- if you include enough information that you can trust the results they collapse under their own weight

True, I’m more so angry that the guy is blaming Bernie for this lol

  4. I was against caucuses from the start. But adding more steps and points of failure and human interaction seems to have caused a lot of issues.

Interesting that the candidate who helped develop the app that crashed is claiming victory

Well, let’s hope this was the last Iowa caucus we ever had. Introducing 2024, the “Iowa Primary”!

Do you think the caucus would be better without the transparency rules?

I don't think it is. Yes, its slowed down the results. But doesn't that just indicate the old results quite possibly had issues with them? I feel like if increased scrutiny causes problems with how you are running things, you shouldn't blame the increased scrutiny you should blame how you're running things.

  25. I think the math was hard for people to understand and they calculated it wrong. This was a different process of reporting and tabulating, not like the old results.
